As part of its continued commitment to reduce its impact, the brand offers a selection of designs made from lower impact materials under the ‘Moncler Born to Protect’ label.
Fabrics and accessories1 are considered sustainable/lower impact, and thus included in the Moncler Born to Protect collection, if they have the characteristics shown in the table below:
Recovered materials that have been in the warehouse for at least two years are also considered sustainable.
Moncler uses suppliers that are regularly audited by experienced third parties, on the basis of ethical standards described in Moncler’s Supplier Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics and applicable laws.
NOTE
1Apart from components such as zippers, buttons, cord stoppers, etc.; internal reinforcements, labels, pullers, hanger loops, woven patches, knitted embroideries and ribbons, are also considered as accessories.
2 For some limited articles with particular technical characteristics, recycled polyester ≥68% is accepted.
3 Conventional elastic fibers are accepted if less than 5% of the fabric.
