Moncler is confirmed for the fourth year in a row in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World and Europe, with the highest score (90/100) of the ‘Textiles, Apparel & Luxury Goods’ industry according to the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment 2022, as of 9th December 2022.

MONCLER RATED A-

In 2022, for the second year, Moncler disclosed its climate change impact through CDP, a global non-profit that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform. The company has achieved the leadership level with an A- score for its environmental transparency and actions to mitigate climate risks.

Moncler has also been confirmed as a leading company on CDP’s 2022 Supplier Engagement Leaderboard, for taking action to measure and reduce climate risk within its supply chain.

CDP assesses companies on their climate disclosure, their awareness and management of environmental risks and their best practices associated with environmental leadership, such as setting ambitious and meaningful targets.

In 2022 Moncler was rated by MSCI ESG Research that provides MSCI ESG Ratings on global public and a few private companies on a scale of AAA to CCC, according to exposure to industry-specific ESG risks and the ability to manage those risks relative to peers.

MSCI ESG Research provides in-depth research, ratings and analysis of the environmental, social and governance-related business practices providing critical insights that can help institutional investors identify risks and opportunities that traditional investment research may overlook.

MOODY’S ESG SOLUTIONS

As of June 2022, the Moncler Group ranked 2nd in Moody’s ESG Solutions’ overall score ranking for the sector of Specialized Retail. Receiving a score of 62/100, the Group obtained an “advanced” level.

The score has been assigned through an analysis and evaluation of over 300 indicators, relating to 38 sustainability criteria that take into account (among the others) environmental policies, respect for human rights and the enhancement of human capital, relations with stakeholders, corporate governance and the code of ethics, integrity and the fight against corruption, and the prevention of social and environmental dumping in the supply chain.
