Moncler began its journey in Romania by tapping into the country’s deep-rooted expertise and capability in outerwear industrial craftsmanship. 

With a total surface area of over 24,000 square meters across two facilities and an R&D center dedicated to developing innovative construction techniques and advanced features for high performance garments, such as Moncler Grenoble collections, the site combines cutting-edge technologies with traditional industrial craftsmanship. It also adopts advanced manufacturing techniques inspired by Lean philosophy, with a strong focus on efficiency and optimized production processes.

In line with the Group’s environmental commitments, the facility is powered entirely by renewable energy and is LEED certified. A centralized Building Management System supports energy optimization, while LED lighting ensures both efficiency and comfort. Production scraps are fully recycled, with repurposed materials used across various applications. 

The site also hosts Moncler’s first corporate Kindergarten, which promotes employee work-life balance and is certified to WELL standards.
