Professor of Corporate Finance in the Department of Finance at Bocconi University in Milan, where he was director of the Master of Science in Finance (2019–2022). He is currently responsible for and coordinates courses and seminars on corporate finance, sustainable finance, business valuation, and enterprise & financial risk management. On these subjects, as well as on corporate governance and enterprise risk management, he is the author and editor of articles and textbooks, and a speaker at conferences and webinars.
Partner at Andersen in Italy, where he coordinates the Corporate Finance Advisory Business Unit at both the Italian and European level, focusing on business valuation, M&A, and debt advisory activities. Over his decades of experience, he has supported companies, banks, private equity funds, public entities, and professional/legal firms by providing advisory services and independent fairness opinions, also acting as an expert in judicial proceedings (CTU and CTP) on matters such as business valuations, M&A, restructuring plan attestations, debt advisory, and corporate financial risk management.
He is currently Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors at Unipol, Vice Chairman of Futura Investment, and Statutory Auditor at Angel Capital Management S.p.A. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors at De Longhi and UnipolSai, and as Independent Director and member of the Risk Committee at Ima S.p.A., in addition to holding various corporate positions in both listed and unlisted companies.
Registered with the Milan Register of Chartered Accountants, the Register of Auditors (where he is also qualified as a Sustainability Auditor), and the Register of Technical Consultants of the Court of Milan. Member of Nedcommunity (Italian Association of Non-Executive and Independent Directors), AIFIRM (Italian Association of Financial Industry Risk Managers), and ANDAF (National Association of Administrative and Financial Directors).
