The origin of the name Moncler lie in its very roots: it is in fact an abbreviation of Monestier-de-Clermont, a mountain village near Grenoble. Here, inspired entrepreneur René Ramillon and Andrè Vincent founded the company in 1952 which would go on to create the renowned brand.

FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS*

In 2018, Moncler posted revenues of 1,420.1 million euros (+22% at constant exchange rates). The EBIT was 414,1 milioni with a margin of 29.2%, net profit was up by 33% reaching 332.4 million euros and the net cash was positive and equal to 450.1 million euros.
