The origin of the name Moncler lie in its very roots: it is in fact an abbreviation of Monestier-de-Clermont, a mountain village near Grenoble. Here, inspired entrepreneur René Ramillon and Andrè Vincent founded the company in 1952 which would go on to create the renowned brand.
The positive growth trend in global personal luxury good market is expected to continue, with a 4/5% average yearly growth (CAGR) for the next three years.
