CREATING VALUE FOR STAKEHOLDERS

The economic value generated and distributed by a company represents its ability to create wealth and to share it among its stakeholders. In 2020, Moncler generated an economic value of 1,449 million euros, a decrease of about 12% com- pared to 2019. The results were influenced by the stringent measures imposed by governments around the world to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The economic value distributed by the Company went from 1,110.6 million euros in 2019 to 1,058.9 million euros in 2020, down by 5%. About 73% of the value generated by Moncler was distributed to in- ternal and external stakeholders, while the remaining 27% was retained by the Company.
