TYPE OF CONTRIBUTION
AREA OF INTERVENTION
Over the years, the Moncler Group has been promoting initia- tives and sponsoring projects in support of local communities and charitable organisations through cash contributions, donat- ing clothes and organisational support for national and interna- tional programmes.
The Group s commitment to support communities mainly trans- lates into initiatives related to: support for people in emergency sit- uations, scientific research and prevention, social development and the fight against poverty, and art and culture.
These are complemented by activities to support local com- munities near its main areas of activity, that stem from the dialogue with local authorities and the community. Local personnel working at the main Moncler and Stone Island sites interact and maintain an ongoing dialogue with the representatives of communities and lo- cal authorities to understand their needs and expectations, as well as to assess the impact of business activities on the population, thereby ensuring social consensus.
During the year the Moncler Group invested approximately 2.7 million euros to support local communities, down from the two- year period 2021-2022, during which the Group implemented sig- nificant extraordinary initiatives for the population in response to the Covid-19 emergency.
