The Moncler brand, created in 1952 in Monestier-de-Clermont, France, is globally recognized for its heritage in the outerwear category, particularly down and nylon jackets.

Moncler entered on the Italian stock market on 16 December 2013 at a price of 10.20 euros per share, at the top of the proposed range (8.75 euros to 10.20 euros).

On the first day of trading, Moncler’s share price increased 47% to close at 14.97 euros, making it the most successful European IPO of 2013.

Since March 2014 Moncler has been a constituent of the FTSE MIB, which is comprised of the 40 largest securities on the Milan Stock Exchange. Since September 2016 Moncler has been a constituent of the STOXX EUROPE 600, which is comprised of the 600 main European securities.
